Maniratnam to promote ‘Villain’ in Telugu

Maniratnam, the famous film-maker of Indian film industry will be honored at Venice Film Festival soon with the the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award. Maniratnam is now focusing on the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Villain’ (Ravanan in Tamil & Raavan in Hindi). He is planning a three day trip at Hyderabad from May 27th.

The Tamil and Telugu version of the film features Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Prithvi Raj, Karthik, Prabhu and Priyamani. Sources say that though the storyline somewhat sounds like epic Ramayana, Maniratnam would have definitely added his magical style in it. Let’s wait to see that magical feast on the screens from 18th June.
