Chiyaan Vikram and Selvaraghavan joined hands for Sindubad and the shooting of this film went on for some time in Ladakh region. For some reasons, the team returned to city after completing a short schedule and within a few days announced that the project has been shelved.
The much talked about that movie produced by Kanakaratna Films of Pokkiri Ramesh has now been officially shelved.
Though no official reason has been given it, looks like there were doubts about the viability of the project.Subramaniapuram fame Swathi as heroine was made out to be a big movie.Noted musician Ismail Merchant had recorded two songs for the film, which were later dumped.
Vikram has now allotted the dates given earlier to Selva is now going to start a fresh film with director Suseendran for the same producer Ramesh.
The shoot of this film will start in February end as soon as Vikram completes the talkie portions of Vijay directed Deiva Magan.
