Chiyaan Vikram is known for taking scrutinizing efforts over playing various roles from film-to-film. His astounding performance in 'Deiva Thirumagal' teaser and songs itself has won everyone's appreciations. In fact, the crew members are sure that 'National Award' is already guaranteed for the actor. Now he is all set to appear in a different avatar in the film 'Karikalan'. The film is directed by newcomer Kannan, a graphic artist, who has worked for CG works in several big budget films like 'Anniyan', 'Enthiran', 'Eeram', 'Ghajini' and many more films.
Katrina Kaif's look-alike Zarine Khan has been appraoched for playing female lead role with Pasupathy and Shanmugha Rajan enacting important characters in the film. With Harris Jayaraj denying his part in this project, it remains as a question on who is going to win the chance of rendering music.
The film is reported of having a riveting screenplay and Kannan assures that it will be an entertaining flick for all the masses.
