Rajapattai is a film which has Vikram and Deeksha Seth in the lead roles. This film is directed by Suseendran. Suseendran while speaking said, "In the first meeting itself Vikram moved with me as if he had known me for a long time.
He said, "Susi, I liked your Naan Mahan Alla very much. Can we both do a film?" At that time I had readied a story for Vijay sir. I told this matter to Vikram sir. But Vikram sir said, "Vijay is continually busy in many projects, because of this we can complete ours." I was very much surprised because one of the Indian actors is asking me like this. I told him we can immediately commence.
The shooting of Rajapattai is nearing completion. This film is produced at a budget of Rs 38 Crores. This is the best film in my career. This film has fulfilled my long desire dream. This will not be definitely on the lines of Vikram’s Pithamagan and Deiva Thirumagal.
This film will be on the lines of Dhil, Dhool and Sami. Vikram is donning the role of a gym boy. His character is called Anal Murugan. Murugan’s ambition is to become a big villain in the films. This film will also speak about the land grabbing which read daily in the newspapers."
