It looks like music composer G V Prakash and actor Vikram’s filmi paths are going in the same direction! The latest about the musician is that he’s also doing the actor’s current project, Karikalan! Interestingly, post their combination in Deiiva Thirumagal, the music director is also working on Vikram’s next project for director Vijay.

A source says, “GV has silently been working on the tunes for Karikalan that will be high on visual effects. As it’s a period flick that features the man who built the first dam in India, the tunes and instruments used will be in accordance to the time frame in which the story occurs.”

Simultaneously, the music director is also working on the tunes of his yet-to-be-titled film for director Vijay. “The expectations on this film are huge and it is expected that Vikram’s character will be shaped uniquely in this action entertainer,” adds the source.

When we contacted G V Prakash, he said, “Yes, I’m doing Karikalan as well.”
