Shankar to join hands with Vikram for a movie for the second time (after super hit Anniyan) for Aascar Films banner is old news. What is hot in the trade is that since the maverick director is going in for a multilingual project he wants someone who has a Bollywood presence and is keen on gorgeous actresses along the lines of Priyanka Chopra as the female lead.
The latest buzz is that Asin is also being considered since her recent film Housefull 2 turned out to be a blockbuster. It may be recalled that the Ghajini girl was seen bonding big time with Shankar at an event in Mumbai few months back. It was also reported then that Shankar was heard telling her that he missed the svelte beauty in three of his earlier films. So, in all probability, Asin stands a good chance to work in Shankar's project. Earlier Chiyaan and Asin came together for a Tamil movie Majaa.
