Santhanam goes to London for Thaandavam

Santhanam has taken off for London today (May 22) morning for the shoot of his AL Vijay directed Vikram actioner Thaandavam.

After the mega success of his OKOK and Kalakalappu, the comedian got mobbed at the Anna International airport in Chennai, where everybody wanted to be photographed with him! The new reigning king of comedy is having a dream run at the box office.

The actor who is a part of UTV’s Settai, the Delhi Belly remake is now moving on to another UTV production Thaandavam. Santhanam will be in London for 20 days for the shoot. He plays an “illegal immigrant” from Usilampetti, who has become a Taxi driver in London!

Santhanam had earlier applied for an international driving license, so that he can shoot for the “taxi driver scenes” in London, which is crucial to the story narration. In fact his character moves with the story and is there with Vikram throughout the film. Today the “Czar of Comedy” is an integral part of a hit film.
