Director Shankar Clarifies about Vikram's " I "

Director Shankar, whose films always had a political undertone (think Mudhalvan), has clarified on his blog that his upcoming film I, starring Vikram, Santhanam and Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi, will not be a political drama but a romantic entertainer! The ace director also took to his blog forum to make an official announcement about the film.

 “Starring Vikram, Santhanam, t Malayalam super star Suresh r Gopi, Ramkumar (Nadigar Thilakam Sivaji Ganesan's eldest son) and many more... It'll be my first venture with veteran DoP PC Sriram & writer duo SuBa,“ he wrote. About the number of international technicians working on the project, the director has officially confirmed that Mary Vogt, the costume designer for Men In Black, will be designing some special costumes. Peter Ming of China will assist with the stunts along with Anal Arasu.

 The music of the film is by A.R. Rahman and the director also wrote that Vijay Prakash has even recorded a song for the film recently. Now all that is left to see is who Shankar will rope in as his heroine.
