Ever since this paper first reported that iconic actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was to come to Chennai for the audio launch of the film 'i' excitement around his visit has been at fever-pitch.
Producer Aascar Ravichandran's been quite tight-lipped about the mega event, scheduled for September 15, sharing only the minutest details, but as always, we bring you all the info from sources in the production house.
The former governer of California, accompanied by an entourage of 8 people, will be flying to Hong Kong, from where they will board a chartered flight into Chennai.
The production house approached all the big star hotels in the city, and it's the Leela Palace that bagged the high-profile visit. However, the hotel management says that the booking has not been confirmed yet. It is heard that Aascar is personally looking into additional private security. In addition to an elaborate list of requirements, special food menus have been requested.
Talking about the performances, apart from dances by Vikram and Amy Jackson, a surprise element is believed to be a special number by Prabhu Dheva. Around 15,000 invites were printed for the event to be held at Nehru Indoor Stadium and from what is being heard, it's going to be a spectacular Show.
