EXPECTATION METER

This section tells you about the expectations of a movie, but the expectations on I have been beyond measurements. Ever since Aascar announced their next big-budgeted extravaganza with Shankar and roped in names like Vikram, PC Sreeram, Amy Jackson and Rahman, film buffs and causal goers along with critics have been wanting to know how the film would fare at box-office.

For over a year, the film was kept under wraps and nothing solid was let out until the motion poster got released. The film's magical songs, still top the charts after months of release and the over a minute teaser declared that I will be the biggest of this year.

Thanks to the high profile audio launch, the amazing trailer and the promotions all over India, I has made a lot of noise, with just the hooting in the theatres remaining.

In a special interview, art director Muthuraj says, 'I is not a movie. I is an ambitious vision. I is a bold attempt. Every song in I has a new template and a pattern. Vikram is not a human being. He is a gift from God.  Will any other artist go to this extent to justify a role? Dedication and Vikram are synonymous. He has almost pledged his life for I.  I is an incredible movie. I am as restless as you are to see the final product'.
