This year has been fantastic for Nayanthara, as she had back-to-back hit from the Jayam Ravi starrer Thani Oruvan, Maya to the Vijay Sethupathi starrer Naanum Rowdy Dhan. Now, She has been roped in for Anand Shankar's Next of Arima Nambi fame where she plays the leading lady opposite Vikram. "Yes, happy to have two greatest actors on board. Information other artists, technicians and title to be unveiled soon. For the first time Chiyaan Vikram and Nayanthara" Shankar posted on his twitter page recently.
There were reports that Kajal Aggarwal was supposed to play the heroine, but however it didn't materialise. Meanwhile this is the first time that Vikram and Nayanthara will form a pair onscreen. The technical crew of this untitled flick is getting bigger and we hear that RD Rajasekar will be the Director of Photography (DOP) and art direction will be handled by Muthuraj.
The stunts would be by Dilip Subburayan, while there is speculation that Anirudh may compose music. its has not been confirmed as he's yet to sign on the dotted line.
The film, which was supposed to start shooting earlier this year will finaly go on floors soon. Locations that have been finalised include Thailand, Malaysia and so on. Touted to be an action film. Vikram is likely don Khaki in the film, which will produced by Shibu Thameens.
