VIKRAM: SCENES WITH PRIYAMANI WERE ENJOYABLE

Written By Chiyaan Vikram on Saturday, September 18, 2010 | 10:48 AM

Vikram is back from the Venice Film Festival, which he had attended along with Mani Ratnam and Suhasini. Raavanan was screened during this fest and Mani was awarded the prestigious Jaeger Le Coultre Glory to the Filmmaker award.

The actor recalls the reaction of the audience who had watched the film. He said that most of the audiences were Italians with only a handful of Indians. However, the response to the Usure Poguthey and Kodu Potta songs was astounding. Vikram adds that the viewers thoroughly enjoyed scenes in which Priyamani appeared.

When all three were called on stage soon after the screening which ended at 1:30 am, the entire theatre reverberated with a thunderous applause, recalls Vikram.
