Vikram back to ‘mass’ themes
It’s a been a long time since I did a total mass masala flick, something like Dhool, Saami and Suseendhran’s film will be along those lines”, remarked Chiyaan Vikram, who made the media wait for more than an hour at the launch of his new film Raja Paatai in the city on Monday. He started his speech with an apology. He blamed several things for his late arrival, including a horse he was shooting with at AVM Studios, the sudden showers and the traffic. Then he plunged into a description of his latest film, swiftly adding, “Though a mass theme, Raja Paatai will have a logical flow”.
Deeksha Seth of Wanted fame is making her debut in Tamil and the Tollywood actress seemed visibly thrilled to be paired with the National Award winner. “I can’t ask for a better launch pad than this. It’s a dream come true!” gushed the T’town babe, looking chic in peach-colored garb. The actress said that Chennai has been lovely and she’s enjoying her stay here.
The movie is produced by young Prathish and Santhosh, sons of major producer
Ramesh Babu. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music and Madhi doing the cinematography.
