As a gesture of appreciation to all the media, team 'Deiva Thirumagal' organized a press meet to thank all media friends for their support and for the astounding success the film is getting. It has been an amazing journey for the film, now in its fourth successful week. This has become one film that has seen a huge family crowd at the theatres after a long long time.
Director A.L. Vijay and "Krishna" Vikram seem to have touched a very subtle chord in the hearts of all who have seen the film. The entire cast and crew of the film's team was present during this success event that was held at a leading hotel in the city.
The 'Deiva Thirumagal' team was all praise for the captain of the team, director A.L. Vijay with out whom this film would not have taken off. All the actors spoke of their experience being a part of this dream project. 'Deiva Thirumagal' was delivered to the audience through UTV Motion Pictures, and the man behind it, Dhananjayan too was present, with his usual smile, along with the cast sporting the 'Deiva Thirumagal' T-shirt, cheering the film's success!
Director Bala was the special guest for the event. He handed away mementoes to the cast and crew of the 'Deiva Thirumagal' team. While he took to the mic, the director sincerely thanked his fellow director Vijay for having made use of Vikram's talent, revealing that this film has surpassed his 'Sethu' and 'Pithamagan'.
Apart from being a very different film about the relationship of a father and daughter, the film also urges the audience unknowingly to respect mentally challenged people and accept them as a part of our society. Hats off to the entire team of 'Deiva Thirumagal', for bringing about such a wonderful message through celluloid, and to have delivered it with such subtlety to the society.
We hope there are many more such memorable movies that churn out of director Vijay's think tank.
