Prasad V Potluri and his PVP Cinemas, Vikram starrer Rajapattai audio was launched on Friday (Dec 9) evening at the majestic Anna Centenary Auditorium.Vikram and the film’s music director Yuvan Shankar Raja were the heroes of the evening.
Rajapattai directed by Suseenthiran has Vikram, Deeksha Seth and K Viswanath in the lead along with Reema Sen and Shriya Saran doing a special item song. Yuvan has composed five peppy songs for the album being marketed by Gemini Audio.
The audio launch started with a dramatic “opening scene” entry by Vikram from the back of the auditorium as his fans gave him a thunderous applause.Vikram dedicated Rajapattai to his fans and said: “Suseenthiran has made a mass entertainer and it is on the same genre as Gemini, Dhool, Dhill. I’m doing a pucca mass masala after years.”
Three of the songs from the film were played out on stage as dancers danced to the tunes of Yuvan Shankar Raja. Later two of the songs were screened for the audiences.
The “Podi Payan Pole…” and “Villathi Villain” songs are sure going to rock. In “Villathi Villain” an item song with Saloni. Vikram comes up in many get-up’s including that of Jack Sparrow, Joker, Veerapan etc.
Reema Sen looked gorgeous and Deeksha Seth along with K Viswanath were present at the venue.
Later Vikram did a Q and A session with his fans. Finally the long drawn out event ended with the screening of a new trailer of the film.
