Contrary to media reports suggesting that Shankar would be shooting in eight cities in China for his upcoming flick, an Aascar Films banner, an inside source from the production house reveals that the Anniyan director will actually be shooting in eight different countries in the world including India, China, US, UK, Australia and others.
One may recall Shankar was the first filmmaker in Tamil to have shot at the
Seven Wonders of the World for his film Jeans with Prashanth and Aishwarya Rai. Known for compulsive globetrotting to exotic locations, Shankar even chose some unexplored places like Machu Picchu in Peru for Enthiran.
The new film features Vikram in the lead and according to the actor, it is the role of a lifetime -a shocker for the audiences.
“It is one of the toughest scripts to visualise and make,“ he earlier told this newspaper. Amy Jackson plays his romantic interest.
Sources say that there are two dimensions to Chiyaan's character and in one of them he has a pumped up gym boy look and in the latter half, transforms himself into a skinny physique guy.
The picturisation of A.R. Rahman's composition would definitely be something phenomenal, the source adds.
