Director Shankar's upcoming magnum opus 'Ai' starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in lead roles will be releasing in eight languages across the globe. As per sources close to the film the Tamil dubbing for the film has been completed and the 'Nanban' director has started supervising the dubbing work for other seven languages.
Another news from a reliable source confirms that the film may not release in June as reported earlier. The delay is caused because, Shankar, the strict perfectionist is not satisfied with the VFX work and he wants to redo the same. Also the film's composer A.R.Rahman has sought some more time to complete the re-recording for the mega budget venture produced by V.Ravichandran under his Ascar Films banner.
Sources aver that Shankar himself will officially announce the release date of 'Ai' during the audio launch of the flick that is scheduled to take place in the month of June.
