Shankar and Rajamouli have been considered as two of South India's finest crafts men - who infuse flair and grandeur into their filmmaking. Both of them have been open about their admiration for easch other too.
Rajamouli, who is busy with his bilingual magnum opus Baahubali, was eager to watch Shankar's 'I' ever since it was announced , and has said so on many occasion.
Now after its release, the filmmaker took to Twitter to say that the film is doing well in AP/Telangana despite the mixed reviews it received there. He said. "In contrast to the talk and reviews looks like #I has struck a chord with the audience. The collections have been phenomenal so far. Is faring quite well for the talk it generated initially. The long weekend is also helping. year started on a good note for film business."
But looks like Rajamouli himself is yet to watch it or else he would have come up with a personal review for sure!.
