Karunakaran, who has four films in his kitty, has now been roped in for a role in Vikram's upcoming film, Iru Mugan. Karuna will be playing a crucial role in the film, which is being directed by Anand Shankar. The team is currently canning a few scenes in Chennai and Karuna will join the shoot next month. He is also expected to head to Malaysia for the shoot.
Talking about the film, the actor says, “I am eagerly waiting to shoot with Vikram sir as I have already missed working with him in 10 Endrathukulla due to date issues. I play a prominent role and will be sharing screen space with Vikram sir in most of the scenes.Anand told me that he liked my work in Kanithan. After watching that film only he approached me for this one. I will join Anand's team soon.“ Iru Mugan crew will head to Kashmir for their next schedule.
