Vikram’s drastic weight loss for one of his characters in Shankar’s I had left his family, friends and relatives worried, revealed Vikram at a promo event in Mumbai. “I worked out for three years for the different roles that I play in the film. I had to beef up for the body builder role and lose 25 kgs for another avatar. The diet and exercise were the easiest parts of the process. What was difficult was the reaction of my friends, family and relatives who worried,” said Vikram who had a tough time convincing his well-wishers.
Shankar acknowledged Ram Gopal Varma’s lavish praise for the film’s trailer but refused to comment on his comparisons with Rajinikanth and Jayalalitha. Meanwhile, on the Big Boss sets, Salman Khan and Vikram grooved together for Mersalaayitten song in Hindi. Vikram tried to teach Sallu Bhai few Tamil lines and Salman said, “Whenever I see Vikram, it’s getting difficult for me recognize him because he looks different every time.”
