While Yuvan crooned for Rahman in Maryan, this time, Anirudh has sung for the maestro in Shankar's Ai. We hear that the Kolaveri composer has crooned a fast-paced love song for the Vikram starrer.
About recording the song with Rahman, Anirudh says, “We recorded it recently at his studio and Rahman was so cool during the recording, I have grown up watching this Rahman Shankar duo magic and I am happy to have sung a song in their film.
When Shankar sir called me one day and asked if I could sing, I happily agreed. We had good fun during the recording, which happened a week ago. It is a peppy love song and we finished recording it in an hour.“
Director Shankar has completed the shoot with just this one song to be shot, and the director himself tweeted about the song saying, “Anirudh sings, ARR rocks, Ai tunes coming soon!“
